Year 6 Residential 2024
10th - 14th June 2024
Day 1
Day 2 - We had a good nights sleep with pretty much all the children asleep by 10.30pm. Activities for today:
All groups are kayaking
Then a variety of obstacle course, axe throwing (yes you read that correctly), climbing and caving.
Please sign the guestbook below to send a message to your child :)
Day 3
After a full day of activities everyone was asleep by 10pm!
Today’s activities include axe throwing, blind trail, aero ball, climbing and we end with a whole year group campfire. Of course Miss Coppin had bought marshmallows and chocolate digestives - it wouldn’t be a campfire without a smore!
Day 4
Great times at the campfire last night and everyone enjoyed their smores.
Today is olympics, fencing, more rifles, caving and Giant Canoe.
The year 6s are loving your comments! Some are excited to come home tomorrow some would prefer to stay here with all the fun activities.
Day 5 at Residential
After a good nights sleep we are all up for breakfast. The children are packing their bags and will be completing their two last activities. We are aiming to leave site around 1.30pm. We are aiming to be at school by 4.30pm. We will update you as we leave of where you will need to collect your children - look out for a parent mail.
The children have been amazing trying new challenges and even conquering some of the fears- we are very proud of them!
